Situation

Xerox Corporate Marketing Services manages multiple product launches each year for the Product Solutions Group (PSG) at Xerox. Each product launch has multiple internal stakeholders who need sales tools—for a global sales force and audience—to effectively communicate the value proposition of each product. The challenge was to build a digital tool that could be used on a PC for one-to-one sales at a kiosk for trade show display and online for virtual demonstrations. The tool needed to have a high level of interactivity with links to multiple additional resources, while the content needed to focus on application capabilities and finishing options as well as the usual “speeds and feeds.”

Solution

n-tara interactive developed a Flash-animated, interactive presentation that visualizes the advantages of the Xerox Nuvera product from an application and functionality viewpoint. By creating a 3-D model of the actual equipment, the audience and presenter can see the product virtually, get a sense of how modular the product is and click on specific modules of interest—all without having to see a live demonstration.
This unique graphical interface, combined with animation, voiceover and a paper-path illustration, communicates the benefits of the Nuvera product line in an easy-to-understand and easy-to-navigate format. The presentation can either run in auto-play with a three-minute voiceover providing a high-level overview, or it can be manually navigated to walk the audience through the product features. This “easy to use” functionality makes it extremely user-friendly for any length of customer presentation.

Success

"The Nuvera Tour has been very well received, allowing for presentation flexibility regardless of the customer’s schedule. The navigation and format allows the Xerox presenter the flexibility to jump to the most important features based on the customer's needs quickly and effectively, as opposed to shuffling through slides," said Lisa Burke of Xerox Corporate Marketing. The interactive tour has a unique coding structure allowing for future enhancements, changes and localization of content to multiple languages.
