Situation
Xerox, one of the most recognizable brands on the planet, needed a brand refresh for the gateway of its flagship website, Xerox.com. With Ready for Real Business, a new ad campaign, rolling out, Xerox wanted the look and feel of the website to be as current and exciting as its new marketing strategy.
Solution
Closely partnering with the Xerox Interactive Group, n-tara interactive first devised use cases and used them to guide a new information architecture that would allow customers and prospects to easily complete tasks. Using the UX concept of progressive disclosure, the n-tara design team designed a flyout menu system that reduced complexity and provided greater context for users to quickly access hundreds of pages of content. The new design reduced the number of clicks by two or more and integrated seamlessly with the thousands of secondary pages on Xerox.com.
Success
The website was rolled out in multiple languages and enabled Xerox to quickly capitalize on new corporate marketing initiatives while providing an easier to use website for audiences of all types. Visit Xerox.com >>
