Situation

Wellmont Health System, a large regional healthcare provider with nine hospitals in Tennessee and Virginia, was very dissatisfied with their relatively new website. They consulted n-tara interactive to see how they could alter the site to better serve their customers. The goals were to establish Wellmont.org as a best-in-class website for the U.S. healthcare industry, update the site with a revised brand identity, ensure that Wellmont's corporate website represents world-class quality in creative design and content, and to tie in to existing marketing campaigns featuring personal accounts of patients and physicians.

Solution

Taking a methodical, consultative approach, n-tara interactive discovered that the CMS was adequate—the site just needed a redesign, improved functionality and layout. Wellmont's ongoing broadcast and print campaigns are mirrored in the site's homepage gateway, and content is arranged and indexed in a logical order so visitors can quickly achieve their goals. New web forms, interactive tours and directories, along with updated graphical elements complete the transition.

Success

The new site is on-brand, content is laid out according to customer demand, and the site is used as a "navigation" element in Wellmont's long-form broadcast programming. The history of Wellmont and n-tara interactive has been a very productive relationship and has resulted in many positive, beneficial outcomes.
